Blue Mountain Lake

blue mountain lake is a tradition from when my mother was a girl, so it’s not surprising that her sister wanted to get married there. i’d first gone to blue mountain lake for my aunts wedding on rock island. i was around 7, now i’m 19 and haven’t missed a summer going there for at least a weekend! i love it there, another aunt is the innkeeper for the blue mountain lake inn which is an AWESOME place to stay. the beach is also fun, climbing castle rock, blue(of course), renting out a boat for the day and either waterskiing, tubing, or just cruisin around the lake, hanging out on an island or the hotrocks all day. such an amazing place to go!

My husband and I went to Blue Mt. Lake for our honeymoon, The next year we bought a cabin in the adirondacks, we loved it that much!
There is a great canoe rental, and store in Blue mt. lk, say hello to Ernie, the owner. The lake itself is very beautiful, more natural, not touristy at all. Great for canoeing!
