How I love this place by Quakes
I was near L.A. but never saw L.A. or the Pacific Ocean. However, I did see the San Andreas fault for the very first time! That was the feature I looked forward to the most before I came there in November 2009. I felt a 4.6 magnitude about 50 miles away(Garlock fault) while I was at a restaurant in Victorville. I also visited the Devil’s Punchbowl and Angeles National Forest. It was my first time in California as well as my first time on another tectonic plate! I meditate and make myself an appendage of the Earth. I feel every possible movement in the ground and it keeps me totally in the Now. I have Asperger’s syndrome(autism) and people don’t understand me too easily as well as other individuals with this. So, whenever I feel left out, the Earth is there. Trust, it helps! In southern California, I could be me.
