I moved to Summerville a little over a year ago…I love it here. The south has so much charm. I am from Northern Michigan, which is so different then the Charleston area. absolutly love it here!

Not worth it!
It is ok during the cooler months.Completely livable in fact. The people for the most part are nice. I really wish it had other options besides worth visiting or not. The summer is hell. It is unbearable heat. I truly dont know how the women of old survived it. The magnolias are beautiful and the swamp even has a beauty to it. The wisteria is magnificent…

North Charleston
Worth visiting!
I went to high school in Summerville. Its an extremely quaint, old town that was the vacation spot for all the planation owners from Charleston during the early American era. There is a lot of charm, and you can see most of it by driving down Main St (17A). Its about 40 minutes from Downtown Charleston.

There a place in Summerville, that has the best pulled pork I’ve ever had in my life. And I’m a certified BBQ Judge.
