The only game in town

Nebraska, the state doesn’t have any rivalries in it. There is only one team in town and that’s the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Memorial Stadium when full used to be the 3rd largest city in Nebraska with it’s 80,000 fans. Nebraska fans are some of the most dedicated fans of any team, annually making migrations to where ever Nebraska is playing a game, even in bad years. I’ve been to games in California where the local team had 20,000 fans and there were 60,000 Nebraska fans, so it was almost like a home game! Anyway, Memorial Stadium has a tour which you can take which I would highly recommend if you want a behind the scenes tour of a modern football program.

Two guided walk-through tours are available by appointment:
Memorial Stadium Tour: Memorial Stadium is located between 10th street and Stadium Drive on the downtown campus of the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. The tour starts at the West Stadium Security Entrance and lasts approximately one hour. Stadium Tours can be arranged by calling 402-472-3333.

Great Fans!

As a fan of an opposing team, I have never been treated better.
