Xcaret

I was supposed to go here for my future brother-in-law’s wedding. Then my fiance dumped me.

Very cool place, but move quickly. I guarantee you will not have enough time to do everything you want in 1 day.

Xel-Ha is a much better water park, but Xcaret has lots of other things to offer. Do both if you have time.

A world to enjoy on your own or with a friend. Amazing. I have gone several times and end up in awe every time. I will go again someday…for sure.

If you can’t swim…. DONT WORRY! There are to-die-for underground rivers that you simply MUST float down for the ultimate relaxing experience! The water is not that deep, and they provide you with life preservers, so you cant drown, even if you wanted to (why anyone would WANT to drown, is beyond me, but you get the picture!). You dont even have to swim; the current takes you gently down the river, through caves and past waterfalls.

Then you MUST hang out in one of the hammocks on the beach. You could fall asleep for HOURS!
