India Bistro

The wife and I were having dinner here a while back. We both are fans of the Indian food and have always heard good things about this place. Mid-meal a giant f-ing rat ran through the window by the door, across the rafter into the kitchen. I freaked and we left. I hate rats and this one was about the size of a small creepy dog.

indian food in seattle isn’t very good.

i’m from silicon valley where family-run, authentic indian restaurants abound so perhaps my expectations are a bit too high. still, i’ve tried 4 or 5 different indian restaurants in seattle & none have really impressed me.

of those sampled though, india bistro is the only one i would return to. the flavors, decor & service are good. the only downside is that they can be erratic when it comes to level of spiciness.

Small, cozy, friendly staff. You simply must try the eggplant Bartha!!!
