Del Mar

I graduated High School while living in Del Mar and spent a couple years off-and-on in Elem. school. It’s not a very exciting place. The beach is nice, the racetrack is interesting, but too crowded during race or fair season. Nothing bad about this place, just nothing very spectacular either…

California is expensive, but you should see the beautiful Del Mar, the race tracks, the weather and the beach.

Del Mar is gorgeous! I lived in San Diego for 5 years and spent much of that time hanging out on the coast between SD, LaJolla and Del Mar. Del Mar has an historic horse racing track that is so much fun to attend during racing season. The track has been referred to as “where the turf meets the surf”. back in the day exercise riders were able to walk the horses straight from the track onto the beach of the pacific ocean.
