Newport Beach

One of my friends former g/f’s sort of “took to” my daughter, and invited her down to visit with her and her step-daughter many times in the early 2000’s. Her husband at the time had a beautiful home on Highland Ave.

I tried to open an anger management office down in New Port but we had really low enrollment. I guess if you live in New Port you don’t have much to be angry about. I closed it after about 6 months. It is so beautiful out there. I think I kept the office open so long becasue I liked driving down to the beach. I miss Newport

Haha, yeah, great story about me being rescued by lifeguards. Just don’t play in rip tides kids.

I drove up to Newport beach from Tucson to stay with a friend’s roommate. My friend forgot his mobile phone, though, so when we got to Newport beach we had no way to contact our room for the night. So, we slept on the beach. Aparently this is illegal, but no one said anything. It was lovely. Very soft sand. The next morning we were woken up by a huge group of people cheering- there was a surfing contest going on!

As a tourist, I have to say I felt quite welcomed by the naitives. Everyone was friendly, the food was fantastic, and the ocean was beautiful. I wish I could have spent more than half a day here and definitely plan on coming back again.

Yup. Hm. I could never see myself living here. But I wander over every so often. But usually it’s just to see a movie opening night at the Big Newport theatre at Fascist Island. Oops I gave it away.

Born and raised in Newport beach for 15 years. LOVE IT. If you haven’t been, go, but don’t be an annoying tourist

Definitely worthwhile visiting if you’re down in southern CA. Lots of boutiques, fun places to eat, yacht clubs along the PCH. There are so many things to do!

an absolutely beautiful town and beach. pleanty of delicious restaurants.

There’s a nice beach and you can get postcards of scantily clad people nearby! Plus, the public library book sale is one of the best.
