A review of this place: One of my favorite aquariums!

I lived in Virginia Beach for two years and went here multiple times. There was one particular area where they had a huge tank filled with fish and sea turtles… I could have sat there for hours just watching the turtles swim by. My son was a tiny little thing when we started going here and he just loved the place! He would squeal with delight at the manta ray touch tank. :)

A review of this place: Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center Virginia Beach Virginia

I used to live right down the street fromt he Aquarium, and went there a lot. It’s pretty great, they have an awesome outdoor trail (mostly on a raised wooden walkway over a marsh). Inside they have an I-Max theater, not to mention lots of rad fish… oh and they let you pet the manta rays – always a good time. My two favoite exhibits there were the penguins, and the jelly fish.
