Avalon is one of the best beach towns in New Jersey by ohohohjamiescryin

it’s clean and beautiful (though it still falls second to my beloved Stone Harbor) and very, very charming. It’s close to Stone Harbor, Cape May, and Wildwood. The beaches there are gorgeous and very well taken care of. And there’s a great bird sanctuary it shares with Stone Harbor, where a lot of endangered and threatened species live — including the osprey. The sanctuary even has viewfinders so you can quietly observe the beauty there, which includes all kinds of wildflowers as well.
