Write an entry Entries about this placeUntitled by tenthruneI saw this lake when I went to Ontario on vacation and we heard all about how massive it is: that it could cover all of North and South America with 3 inches of water, that all the other great lakes could fit inside it, and so forth. And this summer I saw it from the air when I came back from France. It was just like being over the ocean – I couldn’t see any land, even from that high up. Our family saw Lake Superior for the first time 3 years ago when we vacationed in northern Ontario (Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie). One day we drove north of the Sault and stopped along a beach for the boys to have a swim. It was cold water, but they had fun and there were plenty of tall pines nearby, truly scenic.
