I have always enjoyed riding on a Washington State ferry. The summer trips to the cabin on Vashon Island from the Fauntleroy Dock and the many cross-Sound trips to Bainbridge Island from Coleman dock as well as the ferry from Mukilteo to Whidby Island. I rode the foot ferry from Alki to Seattle last summer & felt like I was on a MINI vacation! What a great alternative to driving downtown! over 4 years agoUntitled by Molly PeughWenatchee State Park is also a fabulous place to camp.
