Manneken Pis

On a bike trip we stopped to sight see. Yup, there it was. I hear now they dress up the statue. I don’t know what that was about. I bought a lot of Belgium lace which years later was all destroyed.

It’s one of those things that you might as well go see it to say you’ve seen it but..I wasn’t too impressed!

This little guy is hysterical… and the things people do to him…

I took Mrs. Viii with me and my two oldest daughters.

Mrs. Viii tends to err on the side of being prudish at times and was appalled by the statue. I think that it’s sort of humorous and leave it at that.

There are numerous souvenir shops all around the statue. Next time that I go there I intend to by a working replica, bring it home, and install it in our front yard. :-)
