Twin Peaks fame

Stayed in North Bend for a night in quaint little inn right in town, under the gaze of gorgeous Mt Si,it was sight to behold! Ate breakfast at Twedes cafe from the Twin Peaks fame.Loved this little town i would recommend it to anyone who is traveling to or from Snoqualmie falls.

Quiet little town surrounded by mountains about 40 minutes from Seattle. Amazing views and overall good people.

Worth visiting!

Lived here for 10 years, tried to move, but had to come home.

I am a small town girl. I have come to accept it. I love North Bend, I have raised my daughter here and it is the perfect distance away from Seattle. You live in a valley that you never have to leave if you don’t want to, but you are 30 minutes away from Seattle. You can visit a trail by a river, a small lake or a big mountain with a 5 minute drive. The people are quirky, the seasons are distinct, and you always run into someone you know. I think it is a town with a cosier feel to it than was portrayed in Twin Peaks. The best place here I think is George’s Bakery. Get a scone or museli and a latte and sit in the seat in the window to watch the day.

Visit the hot springs

it was hard to find, but one 4th of July weekend we made it through the rough roads, walked across the freezing cold river and hiked up another mile to a cave with hot water. AWESOME. Had to duck once or twice for a bat flying around, but it was absolutely amazing to be sitting in this hot water while looking out over the roaring mountain runoff.
