It has a cracker barrel now but the town still sucks.  — 2 years ago

    Not worth it!

I came back to this town recently on some family business and there was a little bit more developement here than there was the last time I visited. They have a Cracker Barrel now.So..its got THAT going for ‘em, which is nice. My cousin also told me they got a new Thai restaurant. Other than that, the place is still pretty dull and sucky.

    Not worth it!

I stayed in this town for an entire summer a few years back. I wanted to throw myself into work (the main reason I was there) because there was NOTHING to do. They have a Wal-mart and thats it. I ate at one greasy spoon diner across the street from my office building and it was not remarkable but the only restaurant I really saw around. The country roads were pretty but when you are there for more than a few days, its just not enough. They had a dairy queen that I frequented so that was a good time but nothing I can’t get anywhere else in the country. I wanted to write home about my experience there but there was literally nothing to write home about. Its just a town…in Kentucky. Someplace you would probably drive through to get to a more exciting town. The most exciting time I had while I was staying there was when I drove to Nashville, TN for a day.
