Christ Church Cathedral

My Church when I was at Oxford, Michaelmas term ‘98. It has a very nice Romanesque East end, late gothic tracery on the ceiling, and a partially Anglo-Saxon tower. Only the quire remains- the nave was cut off when Christ Church college was built. It’s worth a visit, even if you don’t come to mass, but evensong is really beautiful here.
