On the anniversary of D-Day... — 2 years ago
Worth visiting!
The 60th: it was extremely crowded. We climbed up the cliff on this little trail at the end of Omaha Beach, and landed in an Allied Army encampment. We visited a small D-Day museum here, and then spent a few hours trying to get a taxi back to Bayeux. But the town is small and charming, and the D-Day things are interesting.
