Not too exciting, but probably worth a visit by julesbear

The square’s actually not terribly exciting, but the Tube station is fun and that area is a great place to get souvenirs. Chinatown isn’t too far away, though, where you can get some fabulous pastries.

Feels like times square... by dotcow

but a bit better… If you go to London it is a place to go once a trip, like times square when ever you go to NYC…leaves a touristy taste in my mouth though…

I think of Piccadilly Circus as being at the heart of London. From here, you’re within walking distance of Trafalgar Square, Chinatown, Oxford Street, The Mall, Hyde Park, Leicester Square, Covent Garden and all those West End theatres.

It’s always heaving with people waiting to meet friends, snapping pictures of Eros and the neon signs. It’s a very busy traffic junction as well! I remember being awed by the neon displays when I was little – they are less impressive now, but still pretty all lit up.
