Chinatown isn’t too far away, though, where you can get some fabulous pastries. over 3 years agoFeels like times square... by dotcowbut a bit better… If you go to London it is a place to go once a trip, like times square when ever you go to NYC…leaves a touristy taste in my mouth though… over 3 years agomy first big city by funkyfriedcutiewhen I got off the tube and stepped out into picadilly I was automatically in LOVE. done deal… I’d give anything to go back over 4 years agoUntitled by daydreamerI think of Piccadilly Circus as being at the heart of London. From here, you’re within walking distance of Trafalgar Square, Chinatown, Oxford Street, The Mall, Hyde Park, Leicester Square, Covent Garden and all those West End theatres. It’s always heaving with people waiting to meet friends, snapping pictures of Eros and the neon signs. It’s a very busy traffic junction as well! I remember being awed by the neon displays when I was little – they are less impressive now, but still pretty all lit up. over 4 years agoSee all 27 entries |
