Leonard Wood

My husband is stationed here. We moved here from Seattle, WA where I grew up. This is MY first duty station and I actually like it. I guess once you meet people it really isn’t that bad. I love the summers with the heat. And I love the storms they have here. I haven’t experienced anything like it at all!

This was a common stop on my route from St. Louis (home) to Springfield (college). I often stopped here to make a trip tp Wal-Mart since the 5 in Springfield were all always insanely busy, especially on Sunday nights.

I spent a couple of years here, in Jr. High School.

I can’t recommend it, because all I remember was being miserable. But that’s probably just from not enjoying middle school at all.
