Edisto Island

I love it! And my daughter was married on this beach.

The beach is pretty mediocre, but it’s practically paradise if you’re stranded out in that neck of the woods with nothing to do.

My first time at the ocean was a trip to Edisto. It was amazing. Our campsite was so close that we slept all night to the sound of the water. Amazing.

Ediso Island is beautiful, relaxed, and certainly not too big. Part of the beach is protected by a state park, and it’s not too overdeveloped, which is very nice. The locals are always helpful and there’s plenty of historical sights to see on and around the island. Nice quiet beaches and about 40 minutes from Charleston!
