Balaidos Football Ground

Perhaps squid rolls may seem a strange title for an introduction to a football ground,but then again this is Vigo and not the real world.
Football in Vigo means Balaidos,a ground found in the neighbourhood of the same name,just in front of the Citroen car factory,(the number one employer in the city,think Flint in fatboy Moore’s film).The ground needs a rebuild,but as it is municipally owned and the council has no money it isn’t going to happen soon.
And what has a squid roll got to do this? Well,apparently there is nothing better in this world than having one at half time with your friends while discussing the match,actually grumbling with your friends,I beg to differ there are many better things to do.Still,at least the ground is surronded by lots of bars.
