Le Pont D'Avignon aka: Pont Saint Bénezet

They have an exhibition area where you can hear the original song about dancing “sur le pont d’Avignon”, which sounds very different from the more modern version. It was surreal going to the end of the truncated bridge and looking out over the Rhone to where it originally would have ended on the far bank.

Went to the south of France for my senior high school trip. So many good memories! My friend and I couldn’t get enough people to form a circle and dance with us so just the two of us danced!
