The Charles Dickens Museum

I’m a huge Charles Dickens fan and I was extremely disappointed. You’re left to walk around the house yourself with no guide to explain things and many of the recreated rooms are quite cheeky and look as if they were put together by 15 year olds. Half of the stuff in the museum was taken from Gad’s Hill Place…makes you wonder why they just didn’t locate the museum there. Finally, the gift shop was super tiny and didn’t have much other than Dickens’ books which most visitors will probably have anyways.
