Can’t quite remember but it was in my 20s….visiting a girlfriend who worked at Livermore Labs….

It seems to me,that to enjoy the beauty of Livermore’s rolling hills-the city council needs to do what it allways has…talk no growth.At least no high buildings! I remember when Granada Shoping Center had to replace their sign with one half as tall.I think it was in the early 80’s.Now nobody objects to all the high apartments and Theater going up…Do we really want to be like everyone eles?

I find Livermore has many hiding places for reflection.I go to these places when my life gets out of control and needs re-organizing. I find it hard to survive without slowing down. I esp. like Livermore’s parks. Del Valle is a lake that you can drift a raft or boat on. Shadow Cliffs is a lake and beach too. But I really like the 13 mile long park of sycamores with all the wildlife…rolling hills…and bike or walking path; It’s called Sycamore Park.
