Bathurst

I have an old friends from school lives up here nowadays for uni and i’m hoping to go visit her in these next holidays

It was once an important trade center. Now it has a few good schools, a few good restaurants, and a very important client of my company.

The town is lovely, enjoyable, but I wouldn’t go there unless I had to.

From there you can take a 3.5 hours train to/from Sydney. If you can’t catch the train, there is always bus service, and REX also provides service to Bathurst Airport.

Lovely place during winter. Be careful when visiting Mt Panorama, because if you think you can race around like a V8 driver, the permanent speed cameras will be there watching!
