Its small but not as small as we expected and its very nice with a wide variety of animals! over 4 years agoUntitled by mountainman51I went to the zoo with my wife who is in a motorized wheel chair. We stopped to visit the Tiger in his large cage and he immediately started to “stalk” her from about 40 yards away. This culminated in him attacking the chain link fence between us and him to get to her. Someone pointed out the sign that says “if the animal starts to act agressively toward a person in a motorized chair, please back away slowly, and leave the area.” He followed us around the cage until she was out of his sight. over 5 years agoI make it a point to visit the park/zoo every time I'm in Cape May by ohohohjamiescryinIt’s big enough that it’s not boring, but not so big that you need the entire day to get through it. The otter pavilion is amazing, by the way. edit: The otters HAD an amazing habitat, which has now been downsized into a much smaller area. How sad. Now where they were, there’s a bridge to the “Savana”, which does have a nice array of zebras, giraffes and such. over 5 years agohaha the good ol daysss by XxTakeMeAwayxXwhen i was a kid i LOVED this zoo. ahh, the good times when my mom’s best friend would throw popcorn at my enemy. lol, don’t let me explain. over 6 years agoSee all 6 entries |
