Apple Campus

i was dressed super-preppy. argyle socks, silk scarf around my neck, sweater vest, loafers, amazing.

...so what could I say? ;)

Yes!

But even my love can be outstripped. On the way back from San Francisco to a friend’s spot in Cupertino, we passed the campus on the freeway. Friend Dan, a Mac fiend beyond measure, practically exploded in delight upon seeing it. He wasn’t happy until we went back and drove around the outside for a bit. And that constitutes the sum total of my visit to the place, I admit.

I visited Apple HQ to present our team’s interface design work to the Apple Advanced Technology Group during the infamous Interface Design Project. We had a lot of fun. It seems that the icongarden is now gone.

Watched the keynote on Campus as an Apple Employee. :)

I started with Apple on January 2nd. I am a Mac Genius and will be going up there for training.

You can feel the collective brain power eminating from the buildings on this campus.

Since my sister lives so close to Cupertino, I’ve driven by Apple so many times. My cousin used to work there, but I still have not actually visited the campus. I used to want to work at Apple, but I don’t think I want to live in Silicon Valley. Anyways, I’m a Mac user for life even though I am using a PC right now.

To really appreciate the Apple Campus, you have to know an Apple Employee who can get you inside. I’d suggest soaking up the atmosphere at Caffe Macs during lunch, or catching the every-other-Friday-ish beer bashes.
