Petoskey

Petoskey is one of our favorite spots to visit. Very pretty area. The KOA campground there is very nice too, good people, clean, and reasonable rates.

Actually, I’m in school right now in Ohio but golly-gee-howdy, Petoskey is such a great place and I look forward to going back one day and living there for good. It’s a great, friendly little town and not to mention it is very beautiful. When you crest 31 and look down upon the bay it’s just stunning, even with the poopy hospital in the way. Wonderful area.

When I tell people I’m from Petoskey, they say “Wow you’re so lucky to be from such a beautiful area!” True, it’s scenic and caters to tourists. Not much going on for teens / 20-somethings, though, other than enjoying nature.

I used to go here a lot when I was younger, it is so pretty!

I visited a friend’s cabin near the area this winter. It was too cold to go skiing, but it was pretty and peaceful. Cute shops and town.
