Oneida

I was born and raised in Oneida and it’s a nice little town. The Mansion House is definitely beautiful and great to walk around near. Oneida Lake is lovely, too and there are a lot of good local eateries at the beach – like Eddie’s at Sylvan Beach – or in town. There’s not a ton to do there as a vacation destination (unless you’re into the Indian Casino which has food and shows) but it’s right in the middle of the state and really convenient to spend a day in if you’re going to be traveling through from the Finger Lakes, the Adirondacks or over near Cooperstown & The Baseball Hall of Fame! Any of those areas would be great to visit, too.

I was Born In Oneida, Ny , And the Last time I was There Visiting was about 3 yrs ago. I also have family in Canastota Ny.

After having spent the evening reading about the Oneida community I think a visit to the Oneida Mansion House is in order!
