Théâtre Antique

This ancient Roman theatre is still used for summer performances during festival season (e.g. as an outdoor cinema). A few of the original columns remain to give you an idea of what the outside walls would have looked like.

There seemed to be significantly fewer visitors to this site than the amphitheatre, even those it’s very close by. (This might have something to do with the free view you can get of the site through the railings!) For several minutes at a time, I was the only person there enjoying the view from the highest tier of seating.
