DePalm Island

While honeymooning in Aruba, my husband and I did one of those timeshare tours. In exchange for sitting through a 90 minute presentation, we were given $150 towards the excursion of our choice. We chose to go to DePalm Island, and after using our $150 vouchers, we were able to spend the whole day on the island for only $40. It was well worth sitting through the high pressure timeshare offer, especially since that $40 covered everything from transportation to/from our hotel, snorkeling equipment, entrance to the water park, an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet, free food from the snack bar all day, and an open bar! We toured the Aruban Resort and Casino, but I’m sure you can get similar deals at other timeshare resorts.
