Worth visiting!
Nelson Banqueting Rooms overlook the Thames
Went to a wedding here in 1999. We were upstairs in the banqueting room and one of my table companion quizzed me about Nelson and the Battle of Trafalgar. We dined on potted shrimp and bangers and mash and danced a lot. It was a beautiful night and I remember going outside by the banks of the Thames and also standing on the little balconies. A group of morris dancers were walking by and they came in and did an impromptu performance for the bride.
It was a magical night.
