Write an entry Entries about this placeKangaroo Island by Selene MathewThe Kangaroo Island is a good tourist place to visit .There are lots of things you can watch, like see pink pelicans wheeling through the sky, sea lions lying on the sand of Seal Bay and sleepy koalas in the trees. Sit in the sand grandstands and watch packs and pairs of little penguins make their nightly pilgrimage to the shore in Penneshaw. 8 months agoUntitled by Jeff VCThis is the one place my wife wanted to go when we went to Australia. It worked out pretty well, as we were already planning on visiting friends in Adelaide. I wasn’t too sure about KI, but I’m a complete convert. If you are interested in wildlife, you definitely want to go here. In the three days we were there we saw sea lions, kangaroos, wallabies, koala and an astonishing variety of birdlife. It is truly amazing. Fairy penguins lived under the house we were staying in. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. We’re definitely going back. over 5 years agoVisited in 1994 by ThomasI spent two weeks in a conservation area on the island helping research the echidna. It was fabulous!
