A review of this place: Great food, great ambiance  — 1 year ago

    Worth visiting!

Had lunch at Cafe Flora a couple of weeks back. The ambiance was great and so was the food. As a vegetarian, it was a pleasant surprise to find a place that served a multi-course meal, with choices for each course. It is slightly pricey but worth every penny.

Why I recommend this place to visitors  — 1 year ago

    Not worth it!

I’m sorry to be the contrarian. I have been to this restaurant several times and have never liked the food. It’s popular with several vegetarians I know.

The food was AMAZING!!! There are many vegan dishes and fabulous vegan deserts. Sit in the atrium.

Really good vegetarian.  — 2 years ago

I’ve eaten here numerous times, and the food is excellent. I’ve never had to wait an unreasonable amount of time, and the servers are usually very attentive. You can also call in an order and pick it up if you don’t feel like leaving the house for long. The breakfast quesadillas are the best.
Edit: The last time we tried to call in an order to pick up they told us they aren’t letting people call in orders any more.

Good vegan fare  — 2 years ago

Delicious vegan comfort food. Service is spotty sometimes. Weekend evening crowd has a good vibe. And, for comfort food, it is a bit on the pricey side but not as egregious as Carmelita.

alright, but too pricey  — 3 years ago

    Worth visiting!

The couple of times I have been here for dinner the service and ambiance were very nice. The food was overall alright (some stuff was very tasty, other stuff mediocre), but IMHO pricey. If the prices were cheaper I would rave more about the place. They do have a prix fixe menu though which is a slightly better value. I did find the desserts to be reliably quite good.

This is the BEST vegetarian fine dining that you’ll find in the entire state!
