Greenwich Park

The Royal Observatory is situated within the park so there’s a steady stream of visitors walking through the grounds of the National Maritime Museum into the park. But lots of other visitors seemed more than happy just to laze around or play games in the grounds.

I recommend taking the path up to the viewpoint by the Observatory for some amazing views of the Maritime Greenwich buildings. In the background you’ll see the City, Canary Wharf and the Millennium Dome.
