Hirosaki

It was a hot and quiet day when I walked around Hirosaki, trying to fit too much into one day of travelling. I’d love to return and spend more time here, and hike to and from Iwaki-san without the incredible cloud cover making it too dangerous!

Hirosaki is a small city (about 170 000 inhabitants) in Northern Japan, in the district of Aomori. It is a city with very much historical background, famous for its apples (really delicious) and cherry blossoms.
