Deventer

It’s a nice Dutch town on the IJsel river and easy to get to. There is a nice historic museum, the cafes are great and the park near the train station is beautiful – it has a little zoo in it, too. A good place to go on a day-trip.

Well, I studied one year in Deventer – you can concentrate on your studies- not much to do here. It is a little nice town though. Buy a used dutch bike.

Nice for shopping… small, old city centre… and ideal for romantic people, since you can visit the big park very easily. A lot of chinese people here because of exchange progam with Saxion and some foreign universities.

Every august there is an international book festival in Deventer. It’s huge and great for book lovers.
