Weston-super-Mare

When i went there with my family, i remember eating chips on the beach, using the gambling machines and going in this shop where i bought a hand-held fan and used it on the coach home. Good times.

i kinda grew up here, and hate it. the people, things to do, atmosphere in general is not nice. i agree with others, go to bristol or continue down the coast if you want a good holiday, there isnt much to see or do here

Well, I live in W-S-M, and I must say it’s a pretty nice place to live. But I do not understand why people want to come on holiday here! No! Add a little extra time onto your journey and go to Bristol for a diverse music scene, great night life, shopping, history and museums, or Bath for pretty much the same with a little more history and relaxation thrown in. Or if it’s the beaches you’re interested in head down to Devon or Exeter.
A day trip in Weston is ok, but there’s not much to do aside from the usual shops, cinema, restaurants and nasty beach (mud and no sea! and a small fake ‘bay’ with fake sea! as for Sand Bay, watch out for needles!)

I grew up in weston and can say that its an interesting town with lots to do. Theres bowling, aquarium (but i wouldnt bother its really small), the pier with lots of arcades, shops, museums, golf courses, donkeys -just dont go in the water, its not the cleanist. Generally its an old british seaside. you get candy floss and punch and judy. Theres pedal boating on the marina and theres a few parks with nice flowers for the oldies.

Worth a visit, I live and have grown up there its a nice place. Ask me anything about this Victorian seaside town.
