Worth visiting!

A review of this place: World's smallest capital??

This depends on whether you regard the islands as a country and technically, as they are subject to Denmark, probably not, although they have a lot of autonomy.
There’s so much open and farm land in Torshavn that it can be regarded as a ‘rural town’. It is not particularly prepossessing at first sight from either sea or land but closer examination is well worth while. The small peninsula of Tinganes, between two harbours, contains buildings of the old town including turf topped government buildings.
The museum, art gallery, outdoor museum and Nordic House are all most interesting.
