Ship Bottom

Ship Bottom is just an amazing place! It’s one of my favorites. Some tips:

If you go you MUST stop at Woodies and get a burger. They are seriously the best in the world, they are my favorite. When I go down for memorial day that is the first thing I am doing…eating a woodies burger! =) It is located across from Third street. It has a huge sign you cannot miss it.

Right across from Woodies is Jayson’s Pankcake House and they have the most delicious pancakes…in life! Another MUST!”

About a 15 minute drive and you can be in BAY VILLIAGE which is the coolest place. It’s sort of like LBI’s boardwalk. It’s like a little town with the cutest shops and good places to eat. They are cheap jewerly stands everywhere. They sell some great stuff. And across the street from that is a water park which is also a great time.

Simply put, Ship Bottom, LBI is the place to be <3

My Mom’s parents had a house on 10th, and I remember spending many great summers there. Spent a lot of time at the bay, trying to catch crabs. The beaches were great, never too crowded. I also remember flying kites on the beach during the fall/early spring when the weather was overcast and windy. A great time to be at the beach!
