Yucaipa

Today, my wife and I visited the Hudsons.
They live in a newer section of the city.

I have lived here for twelve years. It was a beautiful place and still is on some days. However, through the years, the orange groves have been replaced by houses and a golf course. It just isn’t the same place I moved to years ago.

The weather here is about 10 degrees cooler than in San Bernardino to the west. The mountains are in our backyard, over the foothills. However, these too have seen better days with the fires and infestation of bark beetles.

Yucaipa is overall, a nice place to live. It is quiet and has a country flair. Just stay away from Yucaipa Blvd.

It is great to go in the fall to pick some apples and blueberries and get a pumpkin right of the vine. In Oak tree village there is a ton of stuff to do that anyone with kids will easily spend and entire day.
