Knysna

Have gone there a couple times, but the best was to find a beaten dust road and head up into the forest. Most amazing! Didn’t see any elephants, but it was so relaxing and far away from the usual. Walked next to forest stream and picniced on lush forest grass. Dont miss out!!

We had a book by Daleen Mathee that we had to read in high school. It’s about lumberjacks working in the Knysna Forest… well my shortened version in any case ;)

It’s a lovely forest next to the sea. Elephants used to wander through the trees, but only a few are left and are spotted on rare occasions. Rather sad actually.
