Streymoy

This is the largest of the Faeroes and has the capital, Torshavn. Anybody visiting should try to get to the end of all its roads.

In particular, see Saksun, one of the most serene places in the islands, Vetmanna for its superb boat trips to the bird caves and Tjornuvik for its idyllic location and the magnificent views towards the massive stacks off north Eysturoy.
