I was born in Bennington, and without the supreme and complete beauty surrounding me for the few years of my life that it did, I sure wouldn’t be the same person I am today. To truly enjoy and understand Bennington, you need to take things a lot slower and spend time finding yourself on a hidden trail through the woods in autumn. Long scarves, warm gloves, a hot cup of sweet coffee or herbal tea, and a stroll down Main Street are a must.

Still. This mansion was the basis for … shit, is it the Haunting of Hill House? I think that’s the one. Old film, black and white… yes. Atmospheric and amazing.

Went to college here for 2 years. No place in the world quite like it.
