Johnstown

Ok, I was born In johnstown and lived there until I was 5. It’s mostly old folks but you can meet some really great people, You can learn about the flood, just kindof do things that you wouldn’t normally do when you live in the city….I like it …It’s kindof a break from reality for me …just kickback and chill out a bit…granted …their economy kindof sucks …..Its not hard to find things to do

The last time I went to Johnstown was in 2003 right before I moved out of Pennsylvania,
I’m originally from the flood city;; but moved into Colver… Now I live in North Carolina.

Honestly, I miss it;; It was home to me, even though the city has it’s issues with flooding, [[ :) ]]& finances… I loved it.

It has its history;; & we all should know it, I may not have been in the flood but I know people who worked for the Red Cross at the time;; & their stories still cease to amaze me.

the history of this place is pretty incredible, and going to the museum here is a must. I think it’s incredible that people could be so irresponsible.

I lived here for 9 years, from 1993 until 2002.

But I love it. Family has lived around here forever… I dig history, and this place is full of it. Check out the Flood Museum here and in South Fork. Pretty amazing.
