University Circle

I wish I could pick two home cities – I am a student at Case Western Reserve University and University Circle is my home (during the school year anyway). Oh well.

I love it here.

yes, there are lots of cultural attractions and the area is beautifully landscaped. but the area is not safe – there are lots of muggings, car thefts, rapes, assaults. even when we lived here out mail was stolen by our neighbors, who were fellow case students.

parking is also very difficult at times, expensive and very limited. which is a shame since there are alot of nice things to see – the botanical gardens, art museum, severance hall, the case campus itself with its myriad architecture styles, and several restaurants.

As a student at Case Western Reserve University, I spend easily 90% of my time in this area of Cleveland. It’s pretty nice, with lots of museums and such. Also, we have Severence Hall, home to the world-class Cleveland Orchestra. If they are in town playing a concert (which is pretty much every weekend from September to June), get a ticket and go!! You will not be disappointed.
