Write an entry Entries about this placereally is great by Emilymy granparents used to own a house right one of those smaller lakes, we used to go up every summer, i really loved it there. over 5 years agoUntitled by grebjackWorth visiting are Buttermilk Falls, Taugannock Falls, the Cayuga Nature Center, First Baptist Church in DeWitt Park, the Cornell Lab of Ornithology (go for a walk in the woods out back), local farm markets, and Moosewood Restaurant. On your way out of town, drive the Finger Lakes Wine Trails and make sure you get to Knapp Vineyards. The Sangiovese is amazing. over 5 years agoTaking in the scenery of the Finger Lakes by JenI drove around this area in 1994 or 95 with friends and the area was stunningly gorgeous. We had driven with a friend from Kentucky all the way to a small town called Auburn, near Syracuse and we made our way into the Finger Lakes one day.
