Worth visiting!

The Rockingham County schoolboard is about to make a decision regarding how to handle the growth in students in the county. They think they’ve asked parents in the county and are leaning towards a “reconfiguration” model where the new school will be K-2 only and the current Peak View Elementary school will become a 3-5 school. Many parents feel that their voice wasn’t heard and they prefer a “redistricting” model where the new school would be a K-5 school and some students at Peak View would be redistricted to the new school.

Worth visiting!

We’ve been to Joshua Wilton, Simple Pleasures, Bluestone Inn, and Bavarian Chef (over in Charlottesville) and are looking for something new. Something elegrant; great ambience, men wear suits (or otherwise fancy dress), etc.

Worth visiting!

I stayed here for the night and enjoyed myself. It is very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive which I highly suggest. Additionally, we enjoyed going to James Madison to see the campus.

aside from the occasional dog-food smell, it’s really not a bad place to be. the scenery is amazing. people are friendly. shenandoah national park isn’t too far away. downtown is cool. i feel like there are hidden places everywhere, waiting to be discovered.
