National Gallery of Art aka: National Gallery

The National Gallery of Art was amazing!! I want to go back!

it’s a wonderful museum. there’s such a range of artwork from all different periods and all different cultures. plus, they sell the most amazing gelato there. almost as amazing as authentic italian gelato (but not quite). it’s definitely worth visiting if you’re visiting the district. i live here so i can go whenever and i swear, it never gets boring. i see something new or fall in love with something all over again every time i go. check it out.

One of the most worthwhile places to visit in Washington DC, and admission is free.

A wonderful way to spend an afternoon. I also highly recommend the gelato bar in the Cascade Cafe downstairs.

This gallery is AMAZING! I just went last weekend. It has the only Da Vinci painting in the western hemisphere along with a myriad of other famous pieces. FOUR Vermeers, and entire room of rembrandts, a room of Titians, a room of Raphaels and a room of Manets. Absolutely spectacular! And the best part-it’s free!!!
