Times Square

There are nice places in Times Square but to go there to look at billboards and take photos in the middle of the busy sidewalk? That is not time well spent in a city with much more to offer than nice, fancy ads

it’s really a staple of any tourist’s visit to new york, but i feel as though it is incredible over rated. any respectable new yorker avoids it like the plague. all in all, its somewhere where youll get dirty looks from people walking with their heads pointing upwards because they think youve just tried to pickpocket them. i suppose its fun the first few times you go there, but more or less it just get irritating after that.

Probably the biggest part I New York I hate.

Times Square is overrated. If you have seen one billboard you have seen them all.

I went with my graduating highschool class just for a fieldtrip, and it was awesome. Chinatown, a car show. Good times. Lots of lights and lots of people.

I visited NYC a few years ago. Of course it’s worth visiting, the site seeing is amazing. I love the buildings and I personally thought the ads and billboards were really pretty. How could you run out of things to do in Time Square?! I was walking around and heard screaming, only to look up and see Queen Latifah waving from the window of the TRL building. I thought that was awesome.

i loved the hustle and bustle. everything intersects here. i love it. you gotta go here, atleast once to experience it.

It’s like you haven’t been to NYC if you’ve never passed by Times Square. All trains pass by Times Square-42nd Street station, so you might as well hop off and walk around this intersection.

The lights are brilliant. It gets overcrowded during rush hour and weekends, though.

I went for New Years Eve 2006. Froze my B*tt off. My tip? wear warm clothes! Had a blast though.
